Finally, Wike Breaks Silence Over Atiku
Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has disclosed that he would soon speak on recent happenings in the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The governor, in a statement by his Special Assistant Media, Kelvin Ebiri, said it has become pertinent for him to speak.
Wike said he would reveal to Nigerians all that has transpired in the PDP since the emergence of former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, as the presidential candidate of the party.
“On Atiku, I will speak soon and Nigerians will know the actual truth of all that has transpired in the PDP in recent times,” he said.
Recall that the Rivers governor had remained silent since after the presidential primary election.
PDP’s Presidential standard bearer, Atiku Abubakar, had in an exclusive interview on The Morning Show, Arise TV, Friday, said he chose a vice presidential candidate that he could work with and who will be ready to succeed him as President.
“In arriving at the decision, I held wide consultations with various stakeholders in our party including our governors, the national working committee, board of trustees, and other leaders to seek their inputs and their wisdom”, Atiku had said.
