Prophet, Woman Fight Dirty Over “Failed” Prayer

A woman, Mrs Sorle Akari is now at loggerhead with one Prophet Smile Eboh over refund of ‘failed’ prayer money.

Mrs Akari in an interview with our reporter last week Thursday stated that she was introduced to Prophet Eboh by a friend she complained to,  about the series of miscarriage she was having in 2020.

Mrs Akari revealed that the Prophet who resides at Rumuigbo  told her to bring money that he will give other Pastors to pray for her to ensure the miscarriage ends.

Mrs Akari said she sold two of her iPhones,her Jewelry and borrowed money to raise the money the Prophet Eboh requested.

She said at some point the Prophet requested money to go to different motherless baby homes on the guise that the children at the home will pray for her but she later found out that it was all scam.

Mrs Akari explained that the Prophet within the period, allegedly defrauded her total of three million,eight hundred thousand naira.

She said when it became clear it was fraud,she went to Prophet Smile Eboh resident but found out that he has packed out.

According to the woman, Prophet Eboh allegedly resorted to threatening her life when she told him to refund the money he fraudulently collected from her under the guise of praying to stop the series of miscarriage.

Mrs Akari further alleged that the Prophet has vowed to deal with her if she continue requesting for the money.

Meanwhile Prophet Eboh in an interview with Journalists denied collecting money from Mrs Akari but admitted praying for her.

Mr Eboh who said he is an Evangelist said there was no time the woman told him she had miscarriage problem.

Mr Eboh challenged the woman to bring receipt or transaction details showing that she gave him money.

Investigation by our reporter indicates that the Commissioner of Police in Rivers State, CP Eboka Friday has minuted a petition sent to his office by Mrs Sorle Akari to the Human Rights desk at Police headquarters, Moscow road for Investigation into the matter.
