I’ve Got What It Takes To Lead Rivers  – Sim Fubara

The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Amaopu-Senibo Siminialaye Fubara has again told people of the state that he had all it takes to perform his duties if elected governor in next year general election.

Fubara who spoke to journalists in a recent interview in Port Harcourt, said he had been sufficiently equipped having held many positions of trusts and never found wanting while in service.

The PDP standard bearer particularly acknowledged that as someone who has served the state as Permanent Secretary and Accountant General, he was adequately equipped with the knowledge and experience to serve Rivers people.

The Opobo-born PDP Guber hopeful regretted that desperation has turned those who are after him into ‘bearers of falsehood’ and assured that he would add value to the success story already recorded in the state by the Wike administration.

While lauding the governor for taking the state to the next level in terms of development, Fubara urged Rivers people to disregard innocuous claims concerning his ancestry.  He said those behind the tale that he shares blood ties with the Rivers governor were the same people behind stories pertaining to the EFCC.

He disclosed that there is a subsisting judgment in his favour which says the anti-graft commission should desist from targeting him.

Recall that Justice Omereji who presided over the matter had said the only path open to the EFCC is to vacate the perpetual injunction restraining it from investigating the account of the Rivers State government
