There is more trouble for Inspector Salihu Kazeem accused of stripping, taking nude video and raping a 17 year-old girl as a second victim, has come up to confirm the allegation of assault against the police officer.

Speaking with journalists after stating her case, the girl who just turned 18 years corroborated the earlier statement of the 17 year old girl that they were both stripped naked, raped till morning and their nude pictures taken after the Inspector accused them of stealing his money.

Meanwhile, the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Rivers State has condemned the alleged rape of the girls by the Police Inspector.

FIDA Chairperson Rivers State, Adata-Bio Briggs in an interview with our reporter said “it is very condemnable for that kind of act to have been done and is something that the Police have to thoroughly investigate and if the police officer is found culpable he should be made to face the law.

“We know that the Police have their own disciplinary measures. He should face that and also after facing that he should also face the court. You know that the offence of rape is life imprisonment.

Offence of rape is not something to be toiled with. Is something to be condemned.

Owing to the fact that there is still issue of blackmail involved. Blackmail on its own is a big offence.

Also speaking, the Chairperson of Legal Care Advocacy Foundation, Jane James Esq said “We commend the CP for inviting all parties upon hearing the matter and also steps taken to ensure the Police Officer is in custody.

We are asking that let the investigation be devoid of every form of sentiment and emotion .let all parties in the matter be given Justice”.

Our correspondent reliably gathered that the outcome of the investigation report will be forwarded to the Commissioner of Police, CP Eboka Friday this week for onward decision on the matter.
