Sir Siminalayi Fubara, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) standard bearer in Rivers State has described as a significantly good omen the presidential recognition of the Rivers State governor, Chief Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike with the Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery, stressing that it is a confirmation of the outstanding leadership of the governor.
Fubara noted that for President Muhammadu Buhari to recognize the unprecedented contributions of Gov. Nyesom Wike in providing quality infrastructure, among the pack of governors in the country despite coming from an opposition party, speaks volumes on the visionary leadership that the governor has provided for Rivers State.
He congratulated Gov. Nyesom Wike for making Rivers people proud and enjoined the people to keep giving the governor the support to continue with the good works of delivering the dividends of democracy till the last days of his administration.
The gubernatorial candidate further lauded the efforts of Gov. Wike in bringing Rivers State from the depths of obscurity to great limelight in national affairs.
He said it is a cheering news to Rivers people for the Federal Government of Nigeria to nominate Gov. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON, for the Distinguished Award in Infrastructure Delivery at the forthcoming Nigerian Excellence in Public Service Award billed to hold at the State House Conference Hall, Abuja on October 21, 2022 and to be performed by President Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.
