…Pledges Unalloyed Support For Gov Wike
The Chief Whip of the Rivers State House of Assembly, and member representing Ogu/Bolo Constituency, Rt. Hon. Evans Bipi has again demonstrated his large heart with a donation of cash and relief materials to some members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who recently decamped from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Rt. Hon. Bipi at a brief ceremony to receive the former APC members at his Ward 1 in Ogu/Bolo, Monday, commended the decampees for taking what he said is the right step, and promised to reward those who would bring back the remnants of APC in the area to the PDP.
Bipi who is also the Leader of Ward 1 in Ogu/Bolo, urged them to embrace the PDP as a large family which has enough space for everyone, stressing the need to work for the overall progress of the party. Rt. Hon. Bipi also called on those yet to pick up their PVCs to do so and ensure to vote for all candidates of the PDP in next year general elections.
Shortly after receiving the APC decampees, the Chief Whip of the Rivers State House of Assembly led the leadership of the PDP in his Ward to sympathize with the Daso family over a fire outbreak that gutted a building on the eve of Friday, November 18, 2022.
Bipi reassured them of his assistance in reconstructing the razed building and also delivered some food items to the family.
The lawmaker, who used to occasion to commend Governor Nyesom Wike on the monumental developments brought to the state by his administration, also pledged his unalloyed support for the governor.
