The Chairman wishes to inform unsuspecting public to steer clear of this fraudster(s) as he will not carry out any business transactions online, either for himself or the Council.
While all necessary and appropriate steps are being taken to ensure not only the deactivation of this and any other social media handle which investigations might reveal, but also the discovery and prosecution of the criminal elements behind it, we urge members of the public to be circumspect when having dealings with all social media accounts purportedly being used for unlawful extortion of the public.
