Rt. Hon. Dekor Commends Gov. Wike For Transforming CSS, Kpor

The lawmaker representing Khana/Gokana federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dumnamene Robinson Dekor has commended Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike over the marvelous transformation of Community Secondary School, Kpor, headquarters of Gokana Local Government Area.

Speaking at the commissioning ceremony on Tuesday, the federal lawmaker said the school has been refurbished into a standard complete with modern facilities, and could be compared to the best schools anywhere in the country.

As the representative of the people, Dum Dekor said he felt much fulfilled when he stepped into the school, adding that teachers’ quarters and other facilities have also been made available to bring up children in the right way.

“I can’t thank Governor Wike enough for doing this marvelous thing on our own soil. He has again proven that he is education friendly and committed to the educational wellbeing of our people”, he said while appealing to Ogoni people to ensure the optimum utilization of the school.

Rt. Hon. Dekor who is the Chairman, House Committee on Host Communities said he almost lost his tracks while coming to the school as he found it difficult to recognize the college following the transformation.

His words, “When I was coming, I didn’t know my way to the school anymore. But I managed to get here. I peeped through the quarters, into one of the classrooms, and believe me, what I saw is exactly what you see in other parts of the developer world”.

The federal lawmaker who once more showered encomium on Governor Wike for the laudable project, said everything needed by Ogonis have been brought to their doorsteps, and expressed joy that Was accompanied on the commissioning by Governor-elect, Sir Siminalayi Fubara .

“I’m confident that the incoming governor would emulate Mr. Projects by bringing everything that we need to our door steps, so we are happy that he is right here in the company of our governor”, he said.
