Anthony Victor Nanmwa Rindap, a budding author and an indigene of Tarok nation from Langtang Plateau State has unveiled/launched his book: “SUDDEN REVOLUTION Minorities Awakening The Tarok Phenomenon”.

The unveiling which took place at Embel Hotel Port Harcourt on Sunday September 19, 2021 attracted an appreciable number of people, including important dignitaries from the Tarok nation and other tribes.

The roll call of dignitaries included, Chief Nanir Nathans Nimmel, Tarok Community Leader, Rivers State who was the father of the Day, Dr. Mrs. Betty Nwokobia – Matron, Ngwang Ishi O’ Tarok (NIO) Rivers State who was the mother of the Day, ASP Vongs A. Kwampe- Chairman, NIO Rivers State and a prominent Igbo citizen, Mr. Okechukwu Daniels, the chief launcher who was represented by an Ohaneze Cheiftain, Mr. Kennis Iwunze.

Ridnap’s book, “SUDDEN REVOLUTION Minorities Awakening The Tarok Phenomenon” which was editorially prefaced by Polycarp Nwaeke, a seasoned Port Harcourt based journalist and former Editor, National Network Newspapers examined the attempts by the majority tribes, particularly the Fulani Ruling Class to suppress the minority tribes, especially the Tarok Nation through occulturaton and force of arms.

The young author strongly maintains that imposing ones culture/language on other tribes could cause the culture/language of such tribes to go into extinction which would inevitably lead to the collapse of the tribes.

It is against this backdrop that Rindap has warned his Tarok people to guard their culture/language jealously and not allow anybody to impose theirs on them.

The author has received a deluge of commendations for writing the book.

Chief Nanir Nathans Nimmel-Tarok community leader in Rivers State said Rindap’s book would awake the minorities, especially the Tarok Nation who had been passive and docile over the alleged surreptitious destruction of their culture/language by the Fulani. He commended his effort and promised to support him.

Dr. Mrs. Betty Nwokobia, Matron NIO Rivers State, expressed joy that a son of the Tarok nation could publish a book exposing the iniquities of the Fulani against the Tarok people.

Recalling that the Tarok nation (Langtang) used to have the largest number of Army-Generals in Nigeria, Dr. Mrs. Nwokobia regretted that today the Tarok people were no longer allowed to join the Army. She sees Rindap’s Sudden Revolution…as a book that will ginger the minorities to stand firm and defend their rights.

ASP Vongs A. Kpampe – Chairman NIO, Rivers State commended Rindap, stating that he had contributed in fighting for the rights of the minorities, particularly the Tarok people, who he said, have had rough times in Nigeria.

The Chief Launcher, Mr. Ikechukwu Daniels who was represented by Mr. Kennis Iwunze extolled the virtues of the author, saying his book would remind the Tarok people of their glorious past when they contributed greatly to Nigeria’s development, especially in the military. He called on Tarok indigenes to buy and read the book.

Many other invitees, including his church members and ladies of substance, poured encomiums on the young author, emphasizing his humility which they said would take him to great heights.

A -V. Nanmwa Rindap studied Accounting between 2015 – 2019 at the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
