As the Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland, former Chairman, Rivers State Council of Traditional Ruler, His Eminence, Sir (Dr) Chukumela Nnam Obi II, marks double celebrations of his 80th Birthday and 50th years on the Eze Ogba throne on Friday 20th November, 2020, one of his trusted nephew’s and loyalists, Prince Charles Chukulaka Amadike-Otoboh, (Mmboh Krikri) has joined other Nigerians within and in diaspora to rejoice with him, describies him as a unique monarch with a large heart.
In his twitter handle, the Mmboh Krikri as he is fondly called, who is the PRO, Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku described his Uncle Oba Chukumela Nnam Obi II as a Traditional Ruler of Traditional Rulers, a philosopher king, an Eagle on the Iroko, a Lion in the jungle, a living Oracle, an ebullient and flamboyant king and a monarch misunderstood by those with infant and un-matured brains.
According to him, the Eze Ogba is indeed a of Vision and character, A man of Ideas and great intellect, An embodiment and An engineer of ideas, A man who turns trails to triumph, A man of courage and tremendous energy and a personification of modesty and humility in Royal Eminence.
Prince Charles Amadike-Otoboh who is the Media Aide to the Ogba Monarch noted that since 1970 when his principal ascended the Ukpe throne at a tender age of 30, he has performed creditably and projected the stool to the admiration and pride of every patriotic son and daughter of Ogba Ethnic Nationality in particular and Rivers State in general and the envy of both his admirers and detractors.
He noted that Oba Chukumela Nnam Obi II is not only just a Traditional Ruler but a distinguished Royal Father, an Orator, a bridge builder who believes in leaving legacy for posterity, a philanthropist par excellence, a humanitarian, a patriot who has served humanity in several capacities and each of his outing, you can never, never ignore his contributions.
He wished the Ogba Monarch a happy birthday and golden jubilee anniversary on the throne and prayed Almighty God to continue to uphold, exalt and grant him many more bountiful years ahead.
