Okechukwu Francis Amadi Wokoro Inducted Into Rukpokwu Council Of Chiefs

Chief Okechukwu O.C. Francis Amadi Wokoro who was installed Eze Ndachukwu 1 of Rumundachukwu on the 24th of April, 2023 by the Nyenwe Eli Rukpokwu, HRH, Eze Amb. Dr. Collins Chukwuma Ogwu 111 JP and his Council of Chiefs/Owhor-holders has been admitted into the Rukpokwu Council of Chiefs and Traditional Rulers.

His induction ceremony was performed on Wednesday 26th April, 2023 at his palace in Rumundachukwu in Eledo Rukpokwu clan.

Eze Bishop T. O. Wokpo JP, Chairman, Rukpokwu Joint Council of Chiefs and Traditional Rulers led other chiefs, which included, Chief Owhonda Mgbakiri, Chief Achinike Nmecha (Acting Paramount Ruler Elikpokwuodu community), Chief Christopher Weli, Chief Samuel Amadi, Elder Prince Sunny Opara and a host of others to perform the induction ceremony.

Much later, the Nyenwe Eli/Paramount Ruler, Rukpokwu Clan, His Royal Highness, Eze Amb. Dr. Collins Chukwuma Ogwu 111 JP whose Stool was recently elevated to second class status by the Governor of Rivers State, His Excellency Nyesom Ezenwo Wike arrived and added color to the celebration.

His arrival was heralded with several gun shots amid jubilations by his subjects.

Traditional drummers and dancers electrified the ceremony with their scintillating performances.

Speaking to Journalists at the event, Chief Okechukwu O.C. Francis Amadi Wokoro, the Eze Ndachukwu 1 of Rumundachukwu who was basking in the glory of the honour done him, said he would maintain peace and order, and ensure that lives and property were secured and safe in the community.

He also promised to extend his peace initiative to the entire Rukpokwu, Rivers State and Nigeria at large.

He assured Nyenwe Eli Rukpokwu of his loyalty to his throne and called on Rumundachukwu people to work for peace and unity of the community.
