Nkpor Monarch Commends Gov Wike For Reconstruction Of Rumuolumeni-Nkpor Road

 

Following the reconstruction of the Rumuolumeni-Nkpor Road, the Ochali of Nkpor Kingdom, HRH Eze Barr. Ikechi Wabara, has lauded Governor Nyesom Wike over his developmental strides, especially on roads and infrastructural development that has changed the ambiance of the state for the better.

He made this known in his Palace, shortly after the commissioning of the road on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, saying there could be no better way of satisfying the yearnings of the people than giving them good roads that will bring about development.

Eze Wabara said the mammoth turnout of the people of Nkpor land shows how grateful they are, because the people of Nkpor had been neglected for long noting that governments have come and gone without looking into their pressing needs but thanked God for Governor Wike led administration for changing the narratives of governance.

According to him, the Governor has demonstrated quite clearly that he has a vision to leave a legacy for posterity, adding that the road will boost the movement of goods and services which will in turn enhance the economic life of the area.

The monarch described the governor as a ‘talk and do’ governor that keeps to his promises and also pleaded with the governor to look into the Nkpor-Ngbodaya Road. As regards the sustainability of the road, he promised that the community will do all they could to ensure that the project is protected from vandals.

Eze Wabara reiterated that Governor Nyesom Wike has transformed the state as a united State where no part of the state is neglected on account of tribal or political differences. ‘Mr. Dean of quality projects,’ we, the people of Nkpor say thank you for remembering us, the people of Nkpor kingdom,” the traditional ruler repeated.
