For their daring boldness to expose his act of infidelity, a husband who decided to have canal knowledge of his wife’s sister created pandemonium in the early hours of Friday as he attempted to drive both the wife and sister away from the house.
According to an eye witness, trouble started at about 12:30am at Rumuadaolu, close to Rumuola in Port Harcourt when noise of heated argument rent the air in the neighborhood over an information that allegedly got to the wife of the randy husband who is simply identified as Abraham.
Our source disclosed that the bubble busted when his wife’s younger sister (Jennifer) unable to bear the persistent sexual advances from his brother in-law decided to spill the bean to his sister, simply identified as Nkechi.
The eye-witness who preferred anonymity disclosed that an evasive Abraham was asked if the allegations were true to which Abraham responded by slapping his wife who clung to him until neighbors came in to separate the couple.
But the husband, we learnt, forcefully drew the wife out of the room as if to avoid further exposure to shame by the wife who was ready to share every detail of her husband’s alleged infidelity to the whole world waiting outside.
This drew a crowd of concerned residents some of who woke up from their sleep to find out what transpired among the trio.
According to another source close to the incident, Abraham was alleged to have dealt dangerous blows to the wife, whom we gathered just put to bed about two months ago.
In his own reaction, a man who volunteered to house Abraham’s wife and the sister, also a close neighbor, revealed that while the women stayed with his family they opened up to his wife all that Abraham ever did. According to the man who preferred to be anonymous, Abraham’s wife sister had explained to her that her brother –in-law was always making sexual advances to her whenever her sister was away. She stated further that the last straw was when the man came to her room in the middle of the night while her sister had travelled to visit their sick mother, appearing before her stacked naked and begging her to allow him make love to her.
The neighbour alleged that her refusal to allow Abraham have his way got him angry, knowing that she would definitely speak up. But he confirmed that the matter had been brought under control temporarily when few community elders gathered to prevail on Abraham to apologize for his misconduct but the drunken husband, we gathered had refused and threatened the more to end his marriage to his wife.
It was stated that Abraham’s temper got calm when his close associates came together with a threat to beat him up before he allowed his wife, his two months old baby and his sister-in-law to return to the house.
But the last is yet to be heard of the matter as fillers from Abraham’s in-laws, indicated that they were not ready to take it easy with an unfaithful son-in-law, even as the mother-in-law was said to have placed a call to her daughter dissuading her from remaining under the roof of her husband.
