Free JAMB Form: Beneficiaries Laud ONELGA Chairman
JAMB Candidates numbering more than 2,000 including indigenes and non-indigenes say they are highly elated over the Executive Chairman’s provision of free JAMB forms which facilitated their admission into various institutions of higher learning in the 2022/2023 admission year.
The candidates expressed their satisfaction with Vincent Job’s educational policy thrust, which according to them has tremendously boost the literacy level of ONELGANs and those living and doing business in the Local Government.
They therefore called on all stakeholders, as well as people of voting age to ensure that Vincent Job returns to his office as Executive Chairman of the Local Government in 2024.
Responding, Chairman, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Hon. Vincent Job thanked them for acknowledging his modest effort in the education sector and pledged his administration’s commitment at reducing illiteracy through effective utilization of resources to provide infrastructure, as well as educational enhancement programmes.
He however admonished them to make adequate use of the opportunity provided by the Council to improve their educational status, shun idleness, cultism, hooliganism and other ills that could jeopardise the peace currently being enjoyed in the area.
Recall that Hon. Vincent Job from inception of this administration has provided free JAMB forms for two batches of beneficiaries – 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 admission years.
The administration has pledged to implement that of 2023/2024.
