Grateful Security Chief Shares Harrowing Experience After Surviving Fire Incident

The Deputy Commander in charge of combating illegal oil bunkering, Amb. Wachukwu Adah has recounted his harrowing experience of surviving a fire incident that required him to undergo eight surgeries.

Speaking during a special thanksgiving service at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Omoku, headquarters of Ogba/ Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area on Sunday,

Adah expressed deep gratitude for his life and vowed to lead a righteous life dedicated to serving God.

On Sunday, November 10, 2024, friends, top security officials, political leaders, clergy, and well-wishers gathered in Omoku to celebrate Adah’s miraculous survival.

He shared that several of his personnel were also affected by the fire, which occurred while he was on duty.

“I don’t wish this experience on anyone. Fire is a terrible thing,” he stated, emphasizing that his survival was only possible through divine intervention.

Adah thanked everyone who supported him, particularly Rev. Fathers, Bro. Felix Obuah, and Dr. Okafor, who played crucial roles in his recovery.

The South-South Zonal Commander ACG Martins Osuagwe and Rivers State Commander Amb. Willy Wegwu also praised God for Adah’s recovery, highlighting the joy of witnessing such a miracle.

The Rev. Father urged attendees to emulate Adah’s commitment to generosity and service.

Following the church service, a reception was held at Krisdera Hotel, where awards were presented to those who contributed to Adah’s recovery, including Bro. Felix Obuah and Dr. Okafor. The event was attended by military personnel, police, civil defense members, and local government officials, all celebrating God’s grace in Adah’s life.
