Glorious Transition As Lolo Umejuru Returns Home, Friday

All roads will lead to Idu-Obosiukwu village in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) on Friday, September 16, 2022 for the burial of late Lolo Chinyere Uche Umejuru, wife of the paramount ruler of Idu-Ogba Community, Eze (Amb) Uche Anayor Umejuru.

According to a burial statement announced by the monarch and made available to the media in Port Harcourt, the body of Lolo Chinyere Uche Umejuru will on Friday, September 16, 2022, leave Ekpedein Mortuary, Ula Ahoada Town in a motorcade, to King Umejuru’s Compound in Idu-Obosiukwu Village, ONELGA.

The statement said that an open air church service would be conducted by the Triumphant Church International (TCI), in honour of the deceased, who during her life time, reigned as ‘Ugo Eze of Idu-Ogba’, before interment.

Speaking to the newsmen, an emotional Eze Umejuru, who is the Eze-Okwu-Onu-Ka-Oha of Idu-Ogba Community, described his late wife as an Amazon, sister, confidant, rare gift and an amazing companion, whose demise has created a vacuum never to be filled.

The Idu-Ogba king however took consolation in the fact his wife lived and died in faithful service to God and humanity, and expressed confidence of meeting her on the ‘resurrection morning when the Lord shall come’.

 Late Lolo Chinyere Uche Umejuru, whose sad demise occured on the 7th of July, 2022 after a brief illness, was survived by her husband, children, parents, siblings, in-laws, numerous friends and well wishers.
