Royal Father Applauds Gov Wike On Projects

Hon. Datonye George, Amayanabo of Chief Prince George Ama has lauded Governor Nyesom Wike’s performance in office, describing his development efforts and initiatives as monumental, meaningful and sustainable.

His Royal Highness noted that most important was the construction and completion of the phase 1 of the Trans-Kalabari road, which according to him is very vital to the people of Kalabari kingdom.

He applauded the governor for keeping to his promise of linking the six communities in central group of Asari -Toru local government area to the mainland.

He described the governor as a sincere and honest leader that has kept to his words, adding that with the phase 1 of the Trans-Kalabari road completed there would be massive development in the area.

“I joined other traditional leadership of Kalabari kingdom to say thank you (imiete) for fulfilling this age long promise made by the previous administrations before you ,” he said.

The traditional ruler also thanked the governor for his magnanimity in awarding the Emohua -Ogbakiri- Abalama road serving the entire three Kalabari local government areas for reconstruction and dualisation, while  urging the governor to consider the phase 2 of the Trans-Kalabari road linking Iwofe to Bakana, Tombia, Bukuma, Buguma,Tema to Ifoko as well as the Buguma link road.

He also requested the governor to consider the ongoing dualisation of the Emohua -Abalama to be extended to the  Sama- Oproama Link road as a parting gift , stressing that same should be done for Bukuma to George Ama -Akidi Ama.

He assured that the traditional institution in the area will continue to play its role for smooth governance of Rivers State.
