Beneficiaries of the free medical care organized by the Celestial Church of Christ, Rumuekini, have applauded the General Overseer, Bishop Arungwa Samuel for his concern for others and life of charity.
The event which took place at the State Primary School, Rumuosi, Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State recently also featured a three day crusade.
Speaking with journalists, one of the beneficiaries, Dr. Igbarumah Daniel described Bishop Arungwa as a real Servant of God and man that has vision and passion for the poor, especially the less privileged in the society. According to him, that Celestial Church of Christ has been empowering youths, women and elders into different skills acquisition through the Bishop.
He thanked God for using him as an arrowhead to touch the lives of people by allowing them have access to free medical care, praying God to continue to shower His blessings on Bishop Arungwa by sustaining him and the church.
He stated that, some of the churches have taken over duties of the government because leaders have failed the masses, and therefore called on the masses to look unto God and worship him because, man can disappoint, but God does not disappoint His people.
The coordinator of the team, Prof. Izzy Nyenwegwe disclosed that medical experts from different areas of specializations were drawn from far and near for the three days free medical care.
He stated that the project was not easy in terms of funding, but thanked God for this servant of God, Bishop Arungwa who took the bull by the horn to make sure that the project was a success.
Highlights of the event include; free eye glasses, free medical tests, free medicine, free surgery, and crusade which was anchored under the umbrella of the Liberated Souls Ministry International, A supernatural Power of His Name, with the
theme “Eternal Life” (St. John 3: 14 – 21 ).
Dignitaries from far and near witnessed the three day crusade.
