Northern Peace Ambassadors Initiative Pledges Support For Gov Fubara Administration
The Northern Peace ambassadors Initiative, the umbrella body of all Northerners resident in Rivers irrespective of religion, creed or political interests has given a pat on the back of the Rivers State Governor, Amaopusenibo Siminalayi Fubara for running an all inclusive administration.
This is the outcome of to the general meeting of all Muslims and Christians of Northern extraction in Rivers State conveyed at the instance of the current Chairman of Northern Peace Ambassadors Initiative, Alhaji Salilu Ibrahim.
The body which is non partisan, said it is convinced that Governor Fubara has started well, demonstrating capacity to take his people to greater heights politically, and socio-economically, etc.
The Alhaji Salilu Ibrahim-led association is also convinced that Governor Fubara has earned himself well-deserved respect and honour from other ethnic groups resident in the state as a result of his high regard and love for all.
He is indeed, a patriotic Nigerian, the association noted. The Northern Peace Ambassadors Initiative also lauded Gov Fubara for exercising power and authority in a manner that will definitely improve the quality of life of Rivers people and all Nigerians living in the state through his lofty policies aimed at providing a conducive environment for investors and human capital development.
Addressing newsmen after the meeting of the association in Port Harcourt, Alh. Salilu Ibrahim expressed the association’s strong resolve to give every assistance possible through their advocacy programmes, prayers and ensuring that their people conduct themselves in the most lawful and orderly manner to help promote the peace and security agenda of the Fubara Administration.
He described Gov Fubara as a good and kind hearted man who has the interest of all Nigerians at heart and should be massively supported to excel in office.
The Northern Peace Ambassadors Initiative leader, Alh. Salilu Ibrahim however, emphasized that the association is not an opposition organ to the government at federal, state or local level, but a union of elders, leaders of thought and all Muslims and Christians of Northern extraction in collaboration with other amalgamated groups of the Arewa Community resident in Rivers State to ensure a peaceful and mutual relationship with their host state by respecting the laws of the land and help promote the good governance of Gov Siminalayi Fubara which has earned him respect and honour among all Nigerians within and outside Rivers State.
