Arrangements have been concluded for the inauguration of Comrade Chief Clinton Adams aka “Igwe Jieli budu” as the palace secretary of HRM, Eze Jobson Anyalebedike Utchay “Nyerisi Mbam Oroesara” kingdom in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
According to a statement from the palace signed by the monarch himself, the brief ceremony will take place in the palace on Thursday July 25, 2019.
High Chief Clinton Adams, “Eze Nvuike Ozu” who has been the palace secretary of Eliozu Community for almost 10 years serving late Eze I.J. Woko before his recent position to overseer the bigger dynasty of 18 communities will thereafter on a later date be properly coronated to take his rightful position in the cabinet.
Speaking with newsmen High Chief Adams informed that he would still be maintaining the Eliozu Royal Palace with its Kitchen Cabinet till the end of their one year traditional mourning period for their late Traditional Ruler, Eze Amb. I.J. Woko after which the process of selection for a replacement will commence.
He further stated that the Eliozu Community would continue with all the ideals and legacy their late royal father stood for especially pursuing all their matters in court to their logical conclusion.
High Chief Adams used the opportunity to advise the Eliozu citizens to remain calm, peaceful and supportive to the Council of Traditional Rulers till the mourning period is over.
He equally promised to go about his responsibilities with greater commitment and vigour.
