The unsparing generosity of Bro Felix Amaechi Obuah took a wider scope over the weekend, when he donated COVID-19 palliatives to thousands of the less-privileged members of the society.
The items which included thousands of yam tubers, bags of garri, gallons of palm oil, gas cookers/cylinders and cash gifts amongst others, were distributed to thousands of vulnerable members of the society, irrespective of religion, political affiliations or tribe.
Bro Felix Obuah moved further to reach out to members of the Rivers State chapter of the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC, with COVID-19 palliatives.
They were also given hundreds of yam tubers, bags of garri, bags of rice, gas cookers/cylinders and cash gifts.
Bro Obuah plans in the days ahead to reach out to other strata of the society who have been greatly affected by the lockdown, occasioned by the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s indeed a clear testimony to his commitment to the future of the less privileged in the society during these hard times of COVID-19, where there is lockdown and people don’t have access to means of livelihood.
Bro Felix Obuah, the outgoing State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP who also doubles as the Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency, RIWAMA, is dedicated to cultivating a good and enduring culture of giving.
As at today, he is the largest single individual employer of labour in Rivers State, with thousands of Rivers and non Rivers youths on his scholarship. He reaches out to people daily and puts smiles on the faces of anyone who comes across him.
Bro Obuah’s single large donations all these past years to his beneficiaries are varied and their stories unique, with huge testimonies from these beneficiaries.
Rivers people are indeed humbled by his generosity and will forever remain thankful.
