Amb. Ebido Donates Palliatives To Widows
In a bid to cushion the effect of hardship occasioned by the spread of coronavirus pandemic a concerned Niger Deltan, Amb. Darlington Ebido has come out with his own palliatives to complement the effort of Rivers State Government under the leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike by providing bags of rice, yams, indomie including other food items to widows in Rumuodolu Community in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Receiving the food items, the President of Civil Society Response Team on Covid-19, Amb. Emmanuel Nkweke who also doubles as the International Spokesmen of International Association of World Peace Advocate (IAWPA) remarked that it was not a contestable fact that Amb. Ebido, giving his true magnanimity of purpose in touching lives of the widows positively has further justified that the award of Peace Ambassador conferred on him recently by IAWPA was not a fluke.
“Interestingly, Amb. Darlington Ebido is not only known for his peaceful disposition at all times but also very generous and upholds the plight of women in high esteem” Amb. Nkweke Stated.
He, however, seized the opportunity to call on traditional rulers, politicians, clergymen and other well meaning individuals in the state to do well to emulate the benevolent life style of Amb. Ebido in reaching out to the indigent ones in our society especially at this trying period of Covid-19 that is ravaging the world.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that members of Civil Society organization CSO) River State Chapter had recently in same spirit donated some foodstuff items to widows in Port Harcourt to alleviate their sufferings in the face of Covid-19.
