Political leaders and business moguls in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Govt Area and Rivers State at large have been advised to invest in the entertainment industry to boost the economy of the state.
The call was made by a promising musician and indigene of Omoku, Alexander Ugochukwu Odiegba during an exclusive chat with Journalists in Omoku on Sunday.
The artist whose music name is Being Alexx said “They should look into dying talents and invest in the entertainment industry. This is business, and you can’t just invest in something that you cannot gain. Our state should emulate Lagos which has gained a lot from the industry”.
Odiegba, who said he ventured into music in 2011 after his secondary school, noted that music has been his passion. “I started singing in church while I was in children department. My church, Jesus Chambers Church, Omoku discovered my talent while I was dancing.
Since his music carrier, he had released 4 tracks, adding that he broke up from a crew called Reflection which he said he was their lead singer.
According to him, his role model was the late Michael Jackson and enjoys beans and ripe plantain as his favorite food.
A peep into his resume reveals he hates cheats, loathes flirting and does not do drugs.
To his colleagues in the music industry, he has this message to them: “It does not end in recording a good song, the struggle just began when you decided to do a demo. You need good promo, not just good song”.
He also advised other youths to think outside the box saying that ‘everybody cannot work in Agip or be a Youth President’.
