A woman who hired killers to kill her husband, Mr Wagbara Bestman has been remanded by the Chief Magistrates ‘ Court sitting in Port Harcourt.
The 40-year-old woman identified as Thelma Bestman was remanded on Thursday for allegedly murdering her husband.
It was gathered that the suspect conspired with others who are at large to kill the husband with a gun after they both had some disagreement.
According to reports, Mrs. Bestman attacked and her accomplices allegedly killed her husband at their home, 15 Chiwota Street, Rumuolumeni town in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area, Rivers State on the 13th of February, 2020.
Though there are claims that after investigations, the police discovered she killed her husband all by herself with a knife.
The woman who is a mother of four children is facing a two count charge bordering on murder and was remanded at the Nigerian Correctional Service facility.
The case was thereafter adjourned till 3rd of August, 2020, for mention.
