Joseph Biranen Dies At 62
A retired Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), Joseph Kpegekoh Biranen from Teerabor-Bera in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State, has passed on. He was aged, 62.
According to a statement from the younger brother, Sunday Biranen Joseph who was described as a diligent police officer died on May 27, 2020 after a brief illness.
The statement said the late retired DSP would be remembered for his love and care for the society, stressing that he put these qualities in action while serving the country.
“He showed great love to his family, brothers, sisters and the society at large. He was such an easy-going gentleman and his good works on earth will make him acceptable to God in Heaven,” the younger brother said in the statement.
In the same vein, Barikuma Maabara, a family friend said the death of Joseph Kpegekoh is a great loss not only to Gokana, but to Ogoni and the entire Rivers State.
Left to mourn him according to the statement are: Mrs Francisca B. Biranen – wife, Mrs Sussy West – daughter, Henry Biranen – son, Darlington Biranen – son, Miss Dumbor Biranen – daughter and Sunday Biranen – brother.
He will be buried on July 11, 2020 at his residence, Teerabor – Bera in Gokana Local Government Area of Rivers State.
