Body Of Alleged OSPAC Victim In Emuoha Missing, Killer At Large
The remains of one Prince Chika Nedd, allegedly killed on the eve of the new year in his hometown, Ibaa, in Emuoha Local Government Area of Rivers State is yet to be found.
Prince Chika, popularly called “Bishop” was reportedly killed by a member of the local vigilante, OSPAC in the area who is now at large.
A statement by the chairman of OSPAC in Emuoha, Emeka Wori confirmed that both the body of the deceased and the alleged killer are yet to be recovered or seen.
The statement further alleged that the OSPAC suspected killer simply called ‘Naked’ had stopped the deceased and two of his colleagues at Obele junction on that fateful day and asked them to alight from their motorbike.
But rather than oblige the order Mr wori said, drawing from the testimony of the unit commander of OSPAC in Obele town, the deceased (Bishop), allegedly pulled a pistol and shot his interrogator who narrowly escaped the gunshot and fired back, resulting in the death of Prince Chika.
The OSPAC Commander in Emuoha was also quoted as saying that the Police DPO of Rumuji Police Station ordered that the suspected killer of Prince Chika be arrested after the incident but the order is yet to yield result.
The spokesman of Rivers State Police Command, SP Nnamdi Omoni confirmed the incident but said information on the incident was scanty as at the time of filing in this report.
Investigation also reveals that both the suspected killer and the killed were leaders of two different cult groups (Iceland and Deygbam) respectively before they repented.
