Mrs Musa Mariam is telling the Osun state police Command what she knows about her stepson’s death.
Musa Mariam who is pregnant , was paraded by police in Osun state for allegedly poisoning her 3-years old stepson to death.
This ugly incident happened in Ede Area of Osun State on 26th December , 2020.
The pregnant woman who was said to have confessed to the crime , said she poisoned the boy because her husband was always showering love and care on the second wife, adding that the second wife had a male child, while she is yet to have a son.
She confessed that she poisoned the lad with pesticide ( Roket).
After the incident had happened, the child was rushed to the Muslim Hospital Ede, where he was given treatment, but later gave up the ghost.
The suspect was arrested on Tuesday 5th January and was taken to the Command Headquarters in Osogbo.
The police later conducted a search o her rsidence where they recovered pesticide bottles with liquid content.
