The Lawmaker representing Degema Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Doctor Farah Dagogo, says he is going to the House of Representatives to give the people of Bonny /Degema Federal Constituency and to a large extent Rivers State, effective representation.

He made this disclosure shortly after submitting his Intent and Nomination forms for the Bonny /Degema House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

Hon. Farah Dagogo, also however described as laughable the rumours making the rounds that he has left his party, the PDP, for the All Progressives Congress ( APC).

He noted that lots of wrong perceptions are always being sponsored against his person, adding that his rumoured defection was one of such.

“Today, here I am. I just submitted my Intent and Nomination forms for the House of Representatives seat on the PDP. I wasn’t unaware of the gale of rumours surrounding my alleged defection to the APC. Since there was no truth in it, I didn’t see any reason to respond to what is being built around lies and have absolutely no foundation.

Chronicling the series of lies against his person, he regretted that a fake Facebook account was opened in his name and was being used to defraud unsuspecting members of the public, maintaining that he would never demean himself to the extent of asking for kick backs from political appointees in his local government area and outside of it.

On his desire to take a step up from the State House of Assembly to the Federal House of Representatives, Farah Dagogo said such push was on the prompting of people from Bonny and Degema.

He further said that he has had several delegations from Bonny/ Degema Federal Constituency, commending his efforts and exploits at the State Assembly, especially as the Chairman, House Committee on Education, adding that it was their conviction that he would serve the Constituency better at the Federal level.
