Rhema Chapel International Churches, Port Harcourt, an arm of the Ever Increasing Word Ministries , is playing host to a youth event, INSPHIGHER Conference, aimed at actualizing the mandate to expand the Kingdom of God through divine ideas and creativity intended to prepare Christian youths for leadership in their different fields of endeavours.
Speaking on the event billed to hold Saturday in Port Harcourt, convener of the INSPHIGHER Conference , Mr. Kazeem Olawale Damilare, said those expected at the annual event include six successful Christian youth leaders, assembled as speakers to motivate the youths and other attendences.
Giving further details about idea behind the programme he said, ”Our vision is to raise influential people who will exert Kingdom ideas on their world and expand the Kingdom with their influence.
“We believe in kingdom expansion on the wings of influence!,” adding that the conference has been instituted to teach the purpose of influence in kingdom expansion, while helping individuals in purpose discovery and providing believers with an insight into his core assignment.
“…we will be preaching the gospel without offence and correcting the misconception between fame and immorality,” he said.
While calling on residents of Port Harcourt and its environs, especially students of higher institutions of learning and other youths to take advantage of the Conference, he expressed the confidence that attendees would enjoy the privilege of drawing inspiration from men and women (speakers) who are making impacts and reaching out to the world through their influence.
Minister Kazeem threw more light on activities of the programme, he said:”Also taking place alongside is the Portraits of Nigeria’s Glory Awards,a platform where we celebrate believers who are influencing the country positively through their various contributions to the kingdom and humanity.
”They shine the glory of God in dark places, brings smiles to peoples’ faces and are consistently providing inspiration to all and sundry.
The convener , who is also a minister of the gospel at Rhema Chapel International Churches is also a speaker, advocate of social gospel and a public relations expert,among others.
Those expected as speakers and awardees at the INSPHIGHER Conference include, Dr. Tonye Rex Idaminabo, Omotunde Adebowale(Lolo), Jumoke Aderounmu, Opeyemi Oke, apart from the convener, Min. Kazeem Damilare and Olasupo Olageshin,the Minister-in-Charge(M.I.C) of the host church, Rhema Chapel International Churches, Port Harcourt, located at Ordu Street, opposite South-South Filling Station, Rumuola- Stadium- Link-Road.
In his own brief remark about the programme, the M.I.C Rhema Chapel Port Harcourt noted that there would always be somebody to be influenced, as there were people looking up to others. He challenged the congregation to use their God-given influence for Kingdom expansion.
He also reminded all about the Rhema Fitness Weekend, an annual sporting event which comes up early in the morning and ahead of the INSPIHIGHER programme same day. He called on the members of the public to avail themselves of the benefits of getting expert knowledge by attending and participating in the two programmes. The sport/fitness weekend is slated for 7:00 am in the morning and end by 9:00am, just as the INSPHIGHER Conference is expected to kick off almost immediately after.
