Prince Paul Wonodi Set To Ascend “Agbakpuru” Ancient Stool

All is now set for the traditional coronation and succession ceremony for Prince Paul Wokhe Wonodi (JP) to ascend the throne of his forefathers as “Agbakpuru V by the Rumuoro Ogbakiri Council of Chiefs in Emohua LGA of Rivers State.

According to the invitation cards that have been sent out to special guests, the event which will take place at the Great Echichi-Imo Royal Hall, Rumuoro Ogbakiri will be led by HRH Eze Stephen Ichendah Agbi, the Paramount Ruler of Rumuoro, Wezina, Echichi-Imo (XXVII).

The date of the ceremony has been fixed for Saturday, February 1st, 2020 by 10.00am prompt under the supervision of the member, representing Emohua State Constituency in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. (Barr.) Sam Ogeh, while reception for invited guests is expected to take place at Wonodi’s Compound, Rumuoro Ogbakiri.

By the time the traditional processes is completed, we learnt, the status of the Ikwerre Chiefs & Elders Forum National Coordinator will change from “Prince” to “Chief” and finally to a traditional ruler – HRH, Eze Paul Wokhe Wonodi (JP) and recognized/classified by the state government and perhaps transformed into the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council member.

Prominent Rivers sons and daughters including the State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike are expected to grace the historic event.
