Police Arrest Suspected Kidnap Syndicate Informants As Kingpin Escapes
A kidnap kingpin popularly called ‘Eminem’ at Elechi Waterfront, Mile I, Diobu, Port Harcourt narrowly escaped arrest over the weekend when men of the Eagle Crack Squad stormed their meeting venue, investigation has revealed.
Some suspected informants of the kidnap kingpin and his fleeing gang were not all that lucky as they were grabbed and are now in Police net.
Our source disclosed that members of the local vigilante group and the Eagle Crack Unit acting on credible intelligence stormed Nanka waterfront, Mile 1 Diobu, where ‘Eminem’ and his gang members were holding the meeting.
The source hinted that the criminal gang opened fire on sighting the security operatives and took to their heels.
We also gathered that many residents sustained injuries while scampering for safety.
The escaped kingpin ‘Eminem’ is said to be responsible for kidnap of Chief Executive Officer of a Printing Press on Azikiwe/Ojoto Street Mile 2 Diobu on November 2, 2019 whose whereabouts is still unknown. The source disclosed that the kidnap kingpin is believed to be responsible for movement of kidnap victims along some waterfronts in Diobu.
