Rivers CP Alleges Respectable Persons In State Are Rallying Points For Cultists
The Rivers State Commissioner of Police, CP Joseph Mukan, has said some respectable persons in the society are rallying points for cultists and cult groups in the state.
CP Mukan made the assertion in a radio programme monitored by our reporter in Port Harcourt.
The Commissioner of Police said such persons have been identified and will be brought to justice soon.
CP Mukan also disclosed that the Police is trailing a suspected Cult leader terrorizing Ahoada who goes by the name ‘VIP’ and strategies are in place to arrest him.
On the issue of paying money for bail, the Commissioner of Police said it is criminal revealed that it is criminal for any Police officer to ask for bail. The Police Chief urged members of the public to report any Police officer who ask for money for bail to top management of the Police in the state.
