Activities are in top gear at the Assemblies of God, Agip Road, Rumueme, Mile 4 Diobu Port Harcourt to mark the 50th Birthday Anniversary of Rev. Dr Emmanuel Israel, Sunday February 7.
Confirming this to newsmen, Rev. Dr. Israel disclosed that the occasion billed to start by 11am would attract eminent personalities from far and near who will be in the state to grace the historic occasion which is hoped to attract God’s blessings in abundance.
“Honestly, attaining the age of 50 years hale and healthy is not a mean feat. I think I should describe such a golden age as very wonderful from God”, the respected man of God proudly stated.
Meanwhile, there will be a musical concert to be held on February 14, at the same venue with spirit-filled gospel artists namely Chris Patrick, Emma Chris, Aniewinsome and stage preacher, Nora J. already confirmed their readiness to be in attendance to speak against some immoral vices like drug abuse, homosexuality cultism, abortion, kidnapping etc.
According to Rev. Dr. Israel who is also a lecturer with Ignatius Ajuru University of Education Rumuolumene, “the proposed musical concert which has the theme: “Total worship experience at Bethel” is basically designed to remind youths not only the need to focus on God but bring them to a godly atmosphere in every month of February, instead of going to disco hall, taking to all manners of unholy act that will not give God glory.
“I think it is important that all needs to appreciate God with song of praises, following His kindness, favour and protection in our lives at all times”, a presbyter in Ikwerre South District Church summed up.
