How Police Arrested Vikings Cult Leader, Female Friend With Arms, Ammunition

The Rivers State Police Command last week confirmed the arrest of a suspected Vikings cult group leader said to be the executioner (number one man) one of the higher institutions in Port Harcourt and his girlfriend as well as recovery of guns.

We learned the arrest followed weeks of surveillance and discreet investigation on the suspected cult kingpin by Octopus strike force of the Rivers State Police Command.

A top security source informed National Network that the suspect had been on the radar of the security agency following the cult clash that led to the shooting of a final year student, Blessing Ogolo three months ago in Rivers State University.

The spokesperson of Rivers State Police Command, SP Nnamdi Omoni, had informed our reporter that the Police has put measures in place in all the higher institutions in the state to tackle issues of cultism.

The measures put in place by the Police command paid off with the arrest of the suspected cult leader alongside his girlfriend last Wednesday at Mile 3   Diobu, Port Harcourt and four pistols were reportedly recovered when Police officers attached to Octopus Strike Force of the Rivers State Police Command stormed the place.

The spokesperson of the command who did not give details on the arrest however added was investigation is ongoing.
