Mmboh Krikri Greets New Oba Of Ogbaland, Urges Him To Improve Inherited Legacies
The Mmboh Krikri of Ogba Kingdom in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government of Rivers State, Prince Charles Amadike-Otoboh, JP, has joined other good Nigerians to congratulate the new Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland, His Eminence, Oba Barr. Nwachuku Obuoha Nnam-Obi III, MNBA, MIBA, Mnipr on his peaceful and successful coronation.
Mmboh Krikri in his goodwill message to the 12th Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland urged him to improve on the legacies left behind by his predecessor (his father) Oba Chukumela Nnam-Obi II who travelled to meet his creator on Friday 30th April, 2021 at the age of 80 years plus having completed his assignment on earth.
According to Prince Amadike-Otoboh who is also a member of the Umu-Ebe (Edihuru) Royal Family of Ogba Kingdom (Producers of the Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland), the choice /selection of Oba (Barr.) Nwachuku Nnam Obi to occupy the (Ukpe) stool is God’s making for tremendous success story in every aspect in Ogba kingdom.
He wished the Oba (Eze-Ogba) long reign, continuous good health and God’s abundant blessings, and encouraged him to redouble efforts and rededicate himself to the promotion of peaceful-co-existence, socio-economic and political development, religious harmony and stability of Ogbaland.
According to the Mmboh Krikri, who is the Public Relations Officer of Federal College of Education (Technical) Omoku, Rivers State, leadership is sometimes a difficult cocktail of hard choices and personal sacrifice and prayed the good Lord to provide the new Oba (Eze-Ogba) with wisdom and courage to defend the rich legacy that comes with the responsibility of being the Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland.
He commended the Umu-Ebe (Edihuru) Royal Family of Ogba Kingdom for a peaceful transition and called on them to always support the new Oba (Eze-Ogba) with useful suggestions and advise that will make him succeed.
The new Ogba Monarch, Oba Barr. Nwachuku Obuoha Nnam-Obi III first son of the immediate past Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland His Eminence, Sir Dr. Chukumela Nnam-Obi II born on 18th September, 1966 at Omoku, Rivers State was coronated as the 12th Oba (Eze-Ogba) of Ogbaland on Saturday 2nd October, 2021 at the ancient Ahia Orie square Omoku.
He attended Central State School Omoku, where he had his primary education before proceeding to Government Secondary School Isaka and later Federal Government College, Port Harcourt where he obtained his West Africa School Certificate in 1984.
He obtained his LLB (Hons) from the then Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Nkpolu, Port Harcourt now Rivers State University, Port Harcourt (1984-1988) and was called to the Bar after completing his Barrister-at-Law (BL) Programme at the Nigerian Law School, Lagos (1989 -1990). He obtained his LLM from University of Jos and underwent several other courses and also lectured at the College of Legal and Islamic Studies, Misau, Bauchi.
Oba Nwachuku Nnam Obi III also served in various capacities in different organizations and institutions such as legal officer; National Fertilizer of Nigeria (NAFCON); Country Analyst (Offshore) ABB SOMINI SPA and Senior Community Relations Officer, NAOC Limited; Member Board of RIV Bank Insurance Company Ltd; Member PABOD Breweries; Rivers State Chieftaincy Reclassification Committee and Federal Solid Mineral Resources Committee (Rivers State).
He is a member of Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), the international Bar Association (IBA) among others.
The new Oba (Eze-Ogba) is happily married with children.
