Chief Amadi Inducted Into Apara Council Of Chiefs
Chief Samuel N. Amadi Eze Ojijiagwo IV of Rumuiwhechiorlu Community in Rukpokwu Clan has been inducted into the Apara Kingdom Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs.
His Royal Majesty, Eze Chike Amadi Worlu Wodo-Paramount Ruler, Apara Kingdom assisted by a coterie of Apapa recognized chiefs performed the induction ceremony on Tuesday, November 16, at Chief Samuel Amadi’s Palace in Rumuiwhechiorlu Community.
Speaking in an interview, the Paramount Ruler of Rukpokwu Clan, HRH, Eze Amb. (Dr) Collins Chukwuma Ogwu III (JP) said with the induction, Chief Samuel Amadi has become a member, Apara Kingdom Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs stressing that he is now one of the recognized chiefs from Rukpokwu that would accompany him to Apara for meetings and other events hosted by Apara. He urged him to be up and doing in discharging his duties to Rukpokwu Clan and Apara kingdom respectively.
Chief Bishop T.O. Wokpo (JP), Chairman, Apara Kingdom Council of Traditional Rulers and Five Arms of Apara said the induction had conferred on Chief Amadi the status of being in the inner caucus of the leadership of Apara Kingdom. He stressed that the Eze Ojijiagwo IV has now become one of the recognized chiefs that would administer the affairs of the eight clans that make up Apara Kingdom.
Asked if it is compulsory that every chief should be a member of Apara Kingdom Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs, Chief Wokpo said no, stressing that only recognized stools and their heads are admitted into Apara Kingdom Council of Traditional Rulers.
Speaking to journalists the highly elated Chief Amadi, the Eze Ojijiagwo IV of Rumuiwhechiorlu said he was very happy to have been inducted into the Apara Kingdom Council of Traditional Rulers and Chiefs.
He said the induction into the Apex Apara ruling body was delayed, but thanked God that it had come to past that day.
He commended the Apara Kingdom Monarch, His Majesty, Eze Chike Amadi Worlu Wodo (JP) for making his induction possible and promised to discharge his duties to his community Rumuiwhechiorlu, Rukpokwu Clan and Apara Kingdom to the best of his abilities.
He also thanked other traditional rulers and chiefs that assisted His Majesty in bestowing the honour on him and prayed God to visit them with honours.
Lolo Patience, wife of Chief Samuel Amadi said she was happy that her husband had become a recognized chief in Apara Kingdom and promised to support him to carry out his duties to the kingdom and humanity.
Some other chiefs who attended the induction ceremony are; Owhonda Mgbakiri (JP), Eze Epara Owhu (IV), Head Chief Owhu Community Elikpokwuodu, Chief Christopher Weli of Rumuwedegele, Elikpokwuodu, Eze Henry Hanachor of Rumuadaolu and HRH Eze R.O. Woko, Paramount Ruler, Eneka Community.
