Members of the All Progressives Congress Like-Minds of Ahoada East on Friday, April 2, 2022 rolled out the drum to celebrate Hon. King Salvation Ezegwogwo, the APC Chairman in Ahoada East.
The event was the gathering of political heavyweights in Port Harcourt, especially the APC political juggernauts who took out time to celebrate Hon. Salvation as he add another year.
Prince Noble, the Chairman of the APC like-minds who organized the event said it was pay-back time for the celebrant who enjoys tremendous goodwill and all-round support on account of the friendship and support he gives to them.
High Chief Emeka Beke, Rivers State APC Chairman on his part, described the celebrant as a very energetic man, trustworthy and also a tool that would bring salvation to the party, saying the celebrant has the capacity to win elections for the party. “We are here celebrating you today but for us to celebrate you more better, you must put all machinery in place to ensure that APC takes over your LGA and the state at large, because I know you have the capacity,” he said.
Chief Beke urged the celebrant to go back home and mobilize for more members because population is the key factor in the game of politics. He also prayed for God’s blessings upon the life of the celebrant, asking that wherever the sole of his feet steps on, the door of favour shall open for him.
Chief Michael West, a former governorship aspirant who is still intending to go for the governorship seat said the APC Chairman of Ahoada East is a rare gift to the people of Ahoada East.
He described the celebrant as diligent and self disciplined in his conduct when dealing with others.
Speaking on political issues, Hon. West said Salvation as the name of the celebrant goes would be the light that God would use to salvage the people of the Ahoada East and the State at large from the shackles of PDP.
He prayed God to continue to bless the celebrant, grant him the best of health and make him live a long and more productive life. He also encouraged all members of the party to be strong and courageous as victory of the forth-coming election is certain.
Hon. Salvation Ezegwogwo who is popularly called ‘Bonge’ in his speech expressed gratitude to God for adding another year to his life and also thanked the guests who made out time to celebrate him.
He poured out his heart to his lovely wife, whom he said has always been his source of strength, and also to the organizers of the party.
According to him, they took him by storm when they gave him a mind blowing birthday bash, “It was really a pleasant surprise package for me, and I pray that those of them that celebrated me, celebration shall not cease in their lives,” he prayed.
