The convener of the 10 Million New-23 March for Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, Hon. Stanley Amaechi has said that the main reason they have decided to organize the event is because Governor Wike has done surprisingly well in office.
Amaechi who spoke to journalists in Port Harcourt at the weekend, said since the governor assumed office in 2015, his administration has brought positive changes to the state, especially in the area of infrastructural development.
“In fact, I want to tell you that Governor Wike has done surprisingly well as the Chief Executive Officer of the state. Therefore, because of what he has done in the state, we have decided to organize 10 Million New 23 March for him, very soon”, he said.
Amaechi expressed satisfaction with the performance of Governor Wike-led administration, adding that his performance is second to none.
“Our purpose for the 10 Million New 23 March for Governor Wike is because he is bold and courageous and if elected as President of Nigeria, he will tackle insecurity and insurgency as well as address the security challenges bedeviling the country”, he said.
The convener pointed out that with what Governor Wike has achieved under his administration, he has surpassed that of former Governor Rotimi Amaechi and some serving governors across the country.
His words: “Former governor Chibuike Amaechi has not done what Governor Wike has been able to do from 2015 till date. When you look at what Governor Wike has achieved within his tenure, you will agree with me that Wike deserves to be the President of Nigeria in 2023”.
Hon. Amaechi who described Governor Wike as exceptionally competent leader, expressed delight to be the convener and leader of the Amaechi Movement of the 10 Million New 23 March for Wike, and assured that he would make the project a nationwide event.
