“Let me assure you as a government that the ugly incident of 2019 General elections where you mobilized yourself, prepare for the candidate of your choice and you were deprived because  of the activities of some leaders who colluded with military officers to deprive you of participation in the electoral process. Let me assure you that that incident  will never happen again in this local government again. We will do everything possible to ensure that nobody, not even the military will come and intimidate you in this area. So be firm and be ready to face the task ahead”.

Meanwhile, the leader and spokesman of the Conscience of the Ogoni People, Chief Gani Topba said nobody has the capacity to say that Ogonis will not vote for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Sir Siminialayi Fubara in next year’s general elections.

As the spokesperson of Ogoni people, I have not told any person that the candidate of the PDP will not be voted for by the Ogoni people.

Those are anti-thesis of sincerity on social media. No credible Ogoniman can say that Ogoni will not vote for PDP.

I tell you that the PDP candidate is from Ogoni, from my village, Zaakpon, you will be shocked if I explain his relationship with me.

So, you will tell Zaakpon people not to vote for their son? How did you do your assessment?

The PDP governorship candidate, Sir Fubara will get overwhelming votes from Ogoni people, I assure you.
