…As Iyagba Restates Core Vision Of Urbanisation, Industrialization, Education
Thousands of elated supporters of the Boot Party have hit the streets of Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital on Friday in a solidarity walk for the party and her youthful Guber Candidate in Rivers State, Mr. Tekena Iyagba.
The Walk which kicked off at 7 am from Aggrey Road to the CFC Junction saw the best of jirations as the crowd sang and danced in sporty apparels.
The Rivers Voices also clapped and chanted songs to convince Rivers people on the need to vote a true Rivers Man with ideas and visions that would make the state great with clear agendas.
The Marchers who caused a mild traffic amid salutations from motorists and commuters, chanted Iyagba’s vision to include urbanisation, industrialization, structural employment, quality healthcare and better educational policies..
Addressing journalists at a muster point which had the presence of Boot Party Guber Candidate, Tekena Iyagba, the Director General of Rivers Voices, Ajentekebia Tamuno-Ibi Harry, noted that after meeting other party Governorship candidates for talks, they decided to support Tekena Iyagba because, according to him, he pocessed a workable plan for Rivers State which is what the State needs.
Responding to the Marchers, the Boot Party standard bearer, Tekena Iyagba reinterated his plans to harness the untapped potentialls of the state in Industrialisation, Urbanisation and , Health and Educational sectors.
Tekena Iyagba who also declared the flag off of his campaign while thanking gpovernors who have served Rivers State for bringing the best they could to bear, said it was time to achieve the original plan of the founding fathers, which is to make Rivers State an Industrial hub and urban state, adding that he has the blueprint to actualise .
The Rivers governorship candidate of Boot Party also called on all and sundry withiin the voting age to vote for Boot Party candidates.
