Bishop Atuboyedia Prays For Ele Kingdom For Peace, Unity, Development
The Bishop of Diocese of Okrika Anglican Communion, His Lordship, Enoch Atuboyedia has prophesied that the ancient Ele Kingdom in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State will henceforth continue to witness rapid development, peace and unity with God on their side.
Bishop Enoch Atuboyedia who made the pronouncement at a one-day revival programme of Diocese of Okrika, Okrika South Archdeaconry Missionary Church at Ele on Friday, January 20, 2023, said as one of the nine ancient clans of Okrika ethnic nationality, it has found favour with God.
The man of God who used the occasion to pray for the Kingdom and the Traditional Ruler and Amanyanaho of ancient Ele Kingdom, King Felix Tamunpsgipiriala Okuru, for God’s wisdom, protection and blessings appealed that all hands must be on deck for the community to achieve an enviable height among its peers.
The ceric tasked the Ele monarch to ensure that he, in conjunction with the Local Government Council Chairman, Hon. Barr. Vincent Nemieboka build a house of God in the community that befits the status of the church which according to him has attained a height that a senior Pastor will be transferred to the area.
In his speech, the Amanyanabo of ancient Ele Kingdom, King Felix Tamunoseipiriala Okuru expressed gratitude to God for the Bishop’s visit to the community inspite of his crowded engagements, and described him as a true son of Ele Kingdom who has the interest of the community at heart, and prayed God to continue to give him wisdom, favour, protection and courage to carry out his episcopal assignment to the glory of God and mankind.
King Felix T. Okuru future prayed for the progress, development and unity of the Kingdom as he appealed to all the people of the community to be steadfast and think of what they will do for the community and of what the community will do for them, stressing that Ele Kingdom will continue to worship and adore God for the numerous things he has done for them before, during and after the civil war.
The Ele monarch noted that the building of the church project will be carried out to the glory of God with all hands on deck and thanked all for gracing the occasion.
