A non- governmental group, Ikwerre/Etche Media Influencers has honoured the Bursar, Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Sir Ikiriko Karibi. The epoch making ceremony held recently in his office at Rumuolumeni campus
The distinguished award was based on his immeasurable contributions and excellent service to humanity
Receiving the prestigious award, Sir Ikiriko expressed joy for the honour done him by the group
Ikiriko explained that it will spur him to leverage on his efforts in making humanity better than he met it
The Bursar said emphatically he lacked words to thank the group for fishing him out among thousands of people to encourage him through the award.
He said everyone has their quota to contribute in making the society better.
Ikiriko however commended the group for championing peace and carrying its functions within the confines of the constitution, saying as a body of youths, they have enough to do in preaching against restiveness among the youths.
He noted that the academic environment such as Ajuru will continue to produce youths capable to lead the society.
He stressed his readiness to continue to encourage groups whose cardinal objective is ensuring peace and growth of the society and pinpointed the Ikwerre/Etche media influencers as one of the groups.
