Following the invitation, the NBTE visited the Polytechnic from the 5th to 8th December, 2022.
The NBTE, in a letter to the Rector, signed by the Director, Polytechnic Programmes, Arc. Ngbede Ogoh on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Prof. Idris M. Bugaje, informed the Rector that the NBTE has granted the Polytechnic 100% approval in all the 12 Programmes presented to the Board, with effect from the 2022/2023 academic session.

“The remarkable successes and achievements recorded by the polytechnic under the visionary leadership of Dr. Kalagbor since 2015, are largely attributable to the grace of God, the immense and immeasurable support of the Governor of Rivers State and Visitor to the Polytechnic, Dr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, coupled with the ingenuity of the Rector in galvanizing the human, financial and material resources required to attain accreditation of all the programmes of the polytechnic.
“By this unprecedented accomplishment, all the programmes of the Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic have been accredited by the NBTE”.
