Ele Monarch Hails Gov Wike For Landing Jetty Project  Award

The Amanyanabo and Traditional Ruler of ancient Ele kingdom in Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area of Rivers State, King Felix Tamunoseipiriala Okuru says the people of Ele community will continue to be grateful to Governor Nyesom Wike for graciously supporting their illustrious son, Barr. Vincent Nemieboka to become the executive chairman of the LGA as well as approving the construction of a landing jetty in the area.

His Royal Highness, King Felix Tamunoseipiriala Okuru in a statement said the people of Ele Kingdom have been given a sense of belonging by these gestures, as it is the first of its kind from any governor of the state.

The ancient Ele monarch maintained that for the governor to remember the community in his development plans, the people are mostly grateful, and assured that they are fully mobilized and ready to exercise their franchise in the forthcoming elections for candidates that have the interest of the community at heart.

He therefore on behalf of the Ele Divisional Council of Chiefs and the good people of the ancient Ele Kingdom pledged their loyalty and support, stressing that construction of the landing jetty will in no small measure alleviate the untold suffering being experienced during low tide, while it would also encourage business investments in the area and further assured that all necessary co-operation will be given to the contractor when the project commences.

King Felix T. Okuru, Apina vii also lauded the Chairman of the Local Government Council, Barr. Vincent Nemieboka for the construction of a health centre and provision of portable drinking water which have also given the people a sense of belonging, pointing out that Ele community as one of the nine ancient clans of Okrika ethnic nationality is in dire need of other developmental projects, believing that their dreams will come to pass in no distant time as the community had been marginalized for so long.

The Amanyanabo of ancient Ele Kingdom however, enjoined the people to continue to imbibe the virtues of love, co-operation, peace and unity for the community to attain its desired height with God on their side.
