Top Rank CEO, Obed Douglas Relishes Media Awards
In less than one month, he bagged two awards based on his efforts in media and publicity. The first was by the organisers of Ogba Project International, a community based organization aimed at propagating the development of Ogbaland.
At the Ogba Merit and Leadership Award 2022, an event held in Omoku, Douglas relished on the awards. He recalled that the convener of the group, Ambassador Abali Bright, who is also the Ochioha of Ohiauga said the award is given to people who have made impact in the Ogba geographical area.
He said he was honoured for promoting media in Ogbaland and that the award served to encourage him to do more things for the people of Ogbaland and ONELGA in general.
He went on: “On January 15, 2023, Top Rank News was honoured as “The Brightest Newsroom of the Year” by the Maison Gibson groups, organisers of the “Most Beautiful Girl in Ekpeye Logbo” and also the convener of Crusher Hangout Party.
“At an event in Omoku, the convener, Gibson Maison said the award is given to individuals found worthy of recommendation.
According to Gibson, the award is a “spotlight self crafted award that is tended to appreciate awardees for their goodness and hard work towards humanity”.
“We always see their good works and we would always encourage them to keep up the good work”.
Recall that the TopRank News boss had earlier received some awards including the Media Personality Award 2022.
His response after receiving the award: “The journey that metamorphosed into what we are celebrating today is not an easy one, going by the hurdles of the journalism profession. Indeed, it has been God all the way and I invite you all to join me in thanking the maker of life for continued protection.
“In the meantime, we must acknowledge the continued support of Hon Vincent Job, the ONELGA Council Chairman. We can’t thank him enough, so we continue to commit him into God’s all round grace and protection.
“On behalf of the management crew of Top Rank News, I thank the organisers for the honour”.
