Obuah Celebrates Sallah With Muslim Community In ONELGA
The Ikemba .Idemili and former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Bro. Felix Obuah has joined the Muslim community in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA) to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir
The event which held at his country home in Omoku on Monday, brought together people from different backgrounds and faiths to celebrate and promote unity and peaceful coexistence.
In his address, Bro. Obuah emphasized the importance of religious tolerance and harmony, stating that occasions like Sallah provide an opportunity to foster understanding and strengthen the bond between diverse communities.
He acknowledged the contributions of the Moslem community to the development and progress of ONELGA, highlighting their values of compassion, generosity, and devotion.
Reiterating the need for Nigerians to love and appreciate one another, Bro. Obuah presented ten (10) rams with other items, including cash gift to the Muslim Community for the Sallah celebration.
Speaking on behalf of the Muslims community, Chief Imam of the four central mosque in ONELGA, Alhaji Raheem Naibi, described Bro. Obuah as a true and detribalised Nigerian who does not segregates against tribe, religion or ethnicity.
The Chief Imam expressed their gratitude to Obuah who is popularly called Go Round by admirers, for his continued support and commitment to fostering a harmonious environment for all residents.
He also extended warm wishes and prayers for the prosperity and well-being of ONELGA and the state at large.
The Sallah celebration in ONELGA served as a reminder of the importance of embracing diversity and promoting interfaith dialogue.
It also reinforced the commitment of ONELGA to nurturing an inclusive society where people from different religious backgrounds can come together to celebrate and appreciate one another.
