The Auditor General of local governments in Rivers State, Friday Bema has applauded Tai Local Government Area, saying it has been so good under the administration of Hon. Mbakpone Friday Okpe.
Speaking during a tour of Tai local government council to assess different projects being carried out by the Council, the Auditor-General said Hon. Okpe and his team have laid a solid foundation for the robust development of the council area and commended them for a job well done.
The Auditor-General who poured encomium on the council boss over modern infrastructural facilities initiated by the administration, thanked Hon. Okpe and the Tail local government council for their efforts and credible leadership.
He noted that leadership style of Hon. Okpe has rekindled the people’s hope and shown that he is indeed a leader who is desirous to make a remarkable change in the lives of Tai people.
Friday Bema further enjoined the Tai council boss not to be deterred in dispensing the dividends of democracy to his people, noting that good leadership breeds speedy development.
The Council chairman, Hon. Okpe thanked the Auditor-General and his entourage for their kind words and narrated how the council has judiciously spent her resources on well meaningful projects across the local government; and assured that his administration will achieve more within the coming months.
