Mgbuesilaru Community Petitions Wike Over Abandoned Primary School Project

Still basking on the euphoria of a united Mgbuesilaru Community after 17 years of protracted crisis, the paramount ruler and Nyenweli, Eze Ejikeme Wali has appealed to Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike to complete the Community Primary School Project started eight years ago.

Speaking after an inaugural meeting of the Town Council which held at his palace on Monday, Eze Wali lamented that the project which was started by the regime of former Governor Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi has remained uncompleted less than one year to the end of the Wike-led administration.

The Mgbuesilaru monarch who attributed the stalling of the project to 17 years of community crisis, appealed to Governor Wike to come to their aid by ordering it’s completion, as, according to him, peace has returned to the community, and everyone now speak in one, united voice.

“We have resolved in the meeting to appeal to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, to come to our aid by completing the Community Primary School, Okporo which for over eight years now, has been abandoned.

“Our children have been learning in the roofless building with the attendant psychological and psychological consequences.

We’ve decided to live in peace and support Governor Wike for him to continue the good work he’s doing, and take us to the next level”, he said.

Describing the first ever inaugural Town Council meeting as a huge success, Eze Wali added that the people also resolved to forge ahead, as no single individual is bigger than the community.

The well-attended meeting was also graced by the presence of Eze Okporo Community, Chief Morgan Amadi and Eze Kwurukwuru, Chief Ken Onuoha Iwezor as well as the Youths leadership.
