Liberty lnt’l Urges Youths To Embrace Skills Acquisition Training

A non governmental organization known as Liberty international is striving to reach out young people, especially in African countries to embrace entrepreneurship so as to be self reliant and free from depending on anyone for survival.

The African coordinator of the organization, Rowland Dappah dropped the hint during this year’s Global Capitalism Awareness day with the theme, ‘Imagine  Africa driven by Capitalism free Trade innovation and entrepreneurship’ .

He noted that Capitalism encourages free market economy and promotes trade across African countries , stressing that the distribution of free text books to students in tertiary institutions is aimed at making them think towards acquiring necessary skills that will equip them fight unemployment and fortify their future.

Dappah however observed that the organization which is, partnering with other international bodies such as Atlas Network has spent so much time and resources to ensure that the 21st century youths are meaningfully engaged in productive ventures inorder to compete favourably with their counterparts in the western world , pointing out that the future belongs to the young ones for leadership positions.

The event which attracted people from all walks of life  including students from various Universities, professional bodies, captains of industries is expected to hold same time next year.
