World Family Day: Peace Ambassador, Chief Andrew Abrah Secures Freedom For Two Detainees
An eminent traditional chief, and Peace Ambassador, Chief Andrew Abrah has called for peace among the peoples of the world to foster beneficial co-existence and positive development in society.
Chief Abrah, the Osuighene of Enhwe Kingdom, and Managing Director of Andystar Nig Enterprise made the charge on May 17, 2023 in commemoration of the International Communication Day.
The traditional chief, and Peace Ambassador cashed in, on the opportunity offered by the International Communication Day to make case for united, peaceful and responsible families for a better world because of the crucial role the family plays in society.
His Eminence, Amb. Chief Abrah in regard of the World Family Day celebrated earlier in the week (May 15, 2023), interceded for two helpless inmates of Kwale Police Station who had been in police custody for some time.
With the understanding and assistance of the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Kwale Police Station, Delta State, CSP Edwin Igoche, Chief Andrew Abrah secured the release of the two detainees, Chukwuma Lawrence and Oliseyerium Chukwunalu Destiny.
Speaking to ICC Media reporters and other newsmen on the sidelines, Chief Abrah advised that people should engage in meaningful activities rather than pointless conflicts.
He also charged leaders at both the local and state government levels, and the general public to promote and embrace activities that will bring about lasting peace in society and foster global security.
One way of achieving this, according to Chief Andrew Abrah, is for all, and the youths to abstain from criminality and other social vices, follow stringently their aspirations and live in harmony with their neighbours as children of the same God.
